WOMEN'S DAY A GREAT SUCCESS!  

WOW!  What a powerful SPIRIT FILLED DAY!  Pastor and Co-Pastor were very well pleased and so were the People.  Most of all God was well pleased and he added unto the membership today.  We had five new members join three of which were new converts.  Hallelujah!  This is exactly what we've been praying and asking God to do...and he did no less than anoint our music and our voices to assist with preparing the hearts of the people for worship.  We THANK GOD FOR USING US IN HIS Service.

Women of God don't forget we are singing next Sunday (April 28th).  We will be wearing White Shirts and  Black Skirts.  We will rehearse on Wednesday night (April 24th) at 7:00 pm. Don't let us down.  Be in rehearsal so that we can continue to perfect our songs.  Let us get ready to do the same thing next week as we did this week.  Let us sing until the POWER of the Lord comes down.

God Bless the Women of God and the Men of God who were there on our LAST NIGHT of rehearsal and who will be there SUNDAY on WOMEN'S DAY to make it ALL happen.  We are excited about the Music that will COME FORTH!  It is POWERful!  The Soloists are ready.  The Directors are ready! The Musicians are ready.  The Choir is ready and the Spirit is Ready to do a great work!  All we have to do is YIELD to it and Let it have its way!  It Had It's Way in Rehearsal Last Night and we saw an Almighty Manifestation of what the song "Break Every Chain" by Tasha Cobb, can do!  We've Got our Own Tasha Cobb in Minister Akia Powell, and when she sings, she is "Coming Forth With Power" on every note!  Get Outta the Way when she sings it on Sunday.  See you there on ZION TEMPLE'S WOMEN'S DAY, 2013.

What a Glorious Sunday Service We Had Last Sunday.  Our Senior Pastor, Dr. Charles Baker who was hospitalized, was back with us.  He prayed for us and it lifted our spirits!  He was in the Hospital, Yet He was Praying for US!  What a Man of God!  It was a Testament to His Great Faith just to see him back in the House of the Lord.  Now If you think last Sunday was GRAND, wait until this Sunday... WOMEN"S DAY!  We, the Women of Zion Temple, will be going forth as a MIGHTY ARMY of GOD.  We will be there ready to sing his praises and minister in music to the HURTING, the BEREAVED, the BROKEN-HEARTED and the BROKEN.  We are praying for a Great Movement of the Holy Spirit.......and Oh when the Holy Spirit gets loose in the place.  Don't Miss It!  Don't Let your Sister Miss It!  Don't Let your Brother Miss It!  Don't Let Your Friends Miss It!  Don't Let Your Cousins Miss It!  We are Going to have a time!

Until then, let us meditate on the words of our "New SONG", taught to us by Min. Akia Powell last Sunday.  It is a song that she brought to us all the way from South Africa and it Goes like THIS:

What a Great Rehearsal!  What a Glorious Night!

We had a marvelous rehearsal on Wednesday Night.  We worked on LORD OF ALL!  and it sounds GREAT!  Our Director and Teacher, Min. Akia Powell, has done well.  We shall be ready to sing unto the Lord Our God on the Lord's Day of Women!

The Women's Day Choir was on FIRE with at least 40- 50 of you there.  When I asked you to come prepared and ready, YOU WERE!  I asked you to listen to your C.D., download your lyrics and know your music and YOU DID!  We have two more nights of rehearsal and I have no doubt that by Women's Day WE WILL BE READY! 

Thank you to our teachers and musicians, Sis. Denise Lollis and Brother Joel Leach.  They are EXCELLENT and we are so blessed to have them.  Welcome to Brother Darius Banks, our Women's Day Drummer.  He is OUTSTANDING!  We are blessed with a number of AMAZING soloists in our Women's Day Choir.  These include new member and soloist, Min. Akia Powell along with our Soloist/Director and Praise Team Member, Rev. Angela Grimes.

Women of God, remember we are a Mighty Army of God!  We have come together to do a great work.  With Jesus as our Captain and with the help of the Lord...we are well on our way to  accomplishing our mission.

Some of you may be having difficulty accessing the Google Drive to download your Music Lyrics.  For that reason, I am posting them here on the blog.  You should be able to copy and paste them into a word document, then print them for use at home or upload them to your smart phone to practice music with lyrics "On the Go".  There will not be a printed copy of music during rehearsal on Wednesday.  We will project music lyrics on screen.  Keep in mind that this will only be for the first and maybe the second rehearsal.  We must know our words by the final rehearsal!  Bless you and we are looking forward to seeing you ready and well prepared on Wednesday night 7:00 p.m.
